Large ground floor apartment in an excellent location. Only a couple of problems made stay a little challenging.
Ground floor apartment in excellent location
Tv did not work. Separate toilet and shower areas not very easy to use.

Good
The location is great, on a lovely street close to Piazza Navona and a short walk from great places to drink and eat. The apartment is quiet for such a central location. The bed was large and comfortable. Carlotta was on hand to message for any questions and quick to reply although we didn't meet her.
The smell of mould - the apartment is on the ground floor and it feels quite damp. The lack of natural light and air - there are only windows at the back that face onto a small courtyard and although they open, there's no mosquito guard. The small shower is very cramped and the water doesn't drain away. There was occasional noise in the bedroom from the apartment above.

Unpleasant stay in cold apartment
The location is great
As much as I hate leaving bad reviews, many things went wrong during this stay. The host was not responsive at all, and even though we agreed on a check-in time and we kept her up-to-date with our plans, she left us more than one hour out of the apartment. The apartment was also very cold (a thermostat signaled 16C), and even though there was a climate device in the room it took 3d working at full power round-the-clock to reach 21C in the entire apartment (we visited early December). The only blanket was stained and the host did not offer any solution (apart from waiving the city tax, which we appreciate). There was no detergent and we had to purchase our own. The host also did not respond to complaints we placed to Booking to solve the cold situation. Would definitely recommend to stay away from this apartment.

Great location and value
The location was great with lots of shops and restaurants right out the apt door. Carlotta was great and checked in with us to make sure all was good.
We did the online check in and the apt access check in instructions were abit unclear regarding the door keypad password/code and instructions for using the keypad.

Cozy little apartment in the heart of Old Rome
Minutes away from Piazza Navona, the Vatican, and Campo de Fiori, this cozy first floor apartment is in lively Via del Governo Vecchio. The hosts are very accommodating and super-responsive. Carlotta and Federica took a lot of care in arranging our transportation from the airport to the apartment and meeting us in person to walk us through the apartment and the keys. It is all about location, location, location. Great restaurants all around and almost all the main attractions are within walking distance. Good number of stores to shop for knickknacks and souvenirs as well as clothes, wines, and such.
Expect a really cozy apartment. We are all pretty small-framed and lightly built, so no issues. If you have anyone in your group who is heavyset or large frame, they might have challenges with the super-compact shower (appears standard Rome size). The main bed is extremely comfortable. The sofa bed is good for young kids.
