Location is great, only a 10 min walk from old town, and a short walk from the train station to connect to the airport.
Beds are very comfortable & The aircon was great in this heat.
Affordable pricing.
There doesn’t appear to be anyone working in the hostel. I was there for 3 days and never saw a member of staff on reception or cleaning.
None of the plug sockets in the room worked, wifi didn’t work either. All the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper which was never replaced, I had to buy my own tissues from the shop.
The only communication with staff is via WhatsApp, I was able to check in fine by texting however I needed a towel and unfortunately got no reply.
I think this has potential to be a really good hostel because of the location and the pricing however it feels like it’s just been abandoned.

I guess if you looking for a hostel where to sleep (beds are amazing), cook, wash your clothes (for free) and have a really nice shower - that’s the one for you. If you a solo traveler and looking to meet new people you won’t find that one here as the environment is quite boring filled in with poles and ukrainians. There is a big poster advertising a Pub Crawl but nobody is going to it, or at least staff doesn’t recommends it at all. Yes, staff is helpful when in need - but they never ever smile.
