The hotel location is great, easy ride on tram to centre of the city with all its charm
The reception staff. Apart from.one particular lady who apologised for the chaos and done her best to help us, the rest were not clear, and making mistakes. I booked a twin room, when my daughter and I checked in we got a double room with no pre explanation or information from the receptionist. We were very tired from travelling and had to go down to ask for the twin room.i upgraded and was confirmed. We then be told by another receptionist that there was no twin room available that's why we didnt get assigned one (which would have been nice again to be told in the first place) and that we needed to come back again in the morning to get a twin room, which we did and a nice young lady did the booking, took the luggage and assured us we will have one when we came back from the day outings. We did and had another receptionist who did not look at the comments the young lady did put for us and booked us in another room! We only found this out when we went to breakfast the morning after and we had an unpleasant conversation with breakfast staff saying to us breakfast was not included in our room ! Yet again here we are having to go to reception to get the problem fixed! Lots of vreceptionists but no coordination and long queues at the desk. Shame! Management needs to train them much better as front desk is always first impression, and first impression counts!
