Balcony view was fabulous
Breakfast seating was inside only. Couldn't understand why it couldn't have also been on the terrace outside with the glorious view. We said we'd like to attend for breakfast at 8.45 but we're told only 8.30 or 9.00. In such an expensive luxury hotel this was ridiculous. We wanted to take one of the bottles of (tap) water from the breakfast room to our own bedroom but it was taken off us and we were told we couldn't. Again, for the price we were paying for the room (and the breakfast each day) this isn't the kind of service we'd expect.

The view of Toledo from the hotel is absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. The building itself is charming, with a traditional design and peaceful surroundings. The restaurant offered decent food, and the outdoor terrace was lovely for relaxing in the evening.
The hotel is far from the city center, so you’ll need to rely on taxis to get in and out of town the costs add up quickly. Be aware that in Toledo, taxi meters start running before pickup, which can make short trips expensive. There’s an alternative service called BOLT that worked well, though it seems to cause some tension with local taxis.
There was no air conditioning in October, and it was still warm at night. We had to open the windows, which let mosquitoes in we ended up with quite a few bites. The staff didn’t seem very responsive or helpful about this issue, which made our stay less comfortable.
