The hotel was lovely and the staff were very helpful and the rooms were kept clean by housekeeping. This location is more near the Marina than in Torremolinios.
Car park prices 22 euro a day and 18 euro per day if your stay is more than 3 days. Definitely should be complementary if you're a resident.
Booked a superior studio with seaview but definitely only got a studio with seaview. Spoke with reception but they said it was a superior room. Side view of other hotel but had got Marina sea view.

We stay in Sol by Melia Puerto Marina in second part of the August. We spend a couple of days in the hotel. Beautiful sea views from the room with balcony, restaurant. Hotel in the front of the beach. After a little trouble, got on the 9 floor room with everything what we expected. Reception staff, especially Lucia was very helpful to us. Nice breakfast, with very good caffe, sun and beautiful sea, make my holidays Great.
Some rooms need renovation. Airconditon system needs improve. Kitchen looks very old.

Excellent location. Nice pool and grass area.
Rooms needed painting, air con was literally non existent. Stayed in a studio . Reported aircon issue on first day and when we went out maintenance entered our room without our knowledge to look at air con proceeded to use toilet left seat and lid up didnt flush and came back to foul smelling room and p** in loo. Not ok and i immediately went to reception to report . Passed my grievance to management who contacted me following evening then said they spoke to maintenance and nobody said they did that . Like wow who is going to take accountability for such an act. Very disappointed with sol Meliá way of dealing with things. Literally fobbed me off.
