The location is the best. It’s an oasis of comfort and quiet in a busy neighborhood of Rome. The staff were exceptional! They helped us many times to get directions, a taxi, or something else. The breakfast was great!

A beautiful sanctuary in the heart of Tratevere, Rome. The rooms are not huge but nice and clean. The staff is what sets this place apart. They are so nice and accommodating. I overheard the front desk attendant happily say that he got to work at 4 am that day but he didn’t care because he “loves his job”. They helped me out by calling the rental car place and help me change my reservation. The interior courtyard is so nice and peaceful and the breakfast and happy hour are great. The Filipino barista will sing country songs to you at breakfast. Wonderful stay and highly recommend!!
Nothing.

Adriano, Armando and Kevin plus all the team were professional, warm and helpful. It felt like they were a family welcoming us. Santa Maria is set well back from the road and has a lovely orchard garden. Hence it provides a real oasis of calm away from the hustle bustle of the streets beyond.
