Most luxurious, spacious room we stayed in during our 5 weeks in France and Italy. We liked our private outdoor seating, A/C, and the elevator. Winner of the biggest, best bathroom out of the 11 hotels we stayed in. We appreciated the washcloths, hair shampoo/conditioner, body lotion, perfume, powerful hair dryer, oversized towels, towel warmer, magnified makeup mirror, and terry robes! A nice breakfast buffet is offered for an additional cost of 20 euros per person. The evening wine and cocktail bar is convenient.
The hotel is at the top of a hill in a residential neighborhood, so there are NO restaurants nearby. Guests must walk at least a half mile down and then back up the steep hill to find any restaurants. It would be nice if the hotel offered a shuttle service or golf cart ride to some of the local restaurants.
The hotel had offered to send a driver to pick us up at the train station upon our arrival at a cost of 30 euros. I agreed to this, not realizing that taxi rides were only about 10 euros, and their driver wouldn't take a credit card! My husband specifically requested a TAXI to take us to the train station after checkout, but the hotel called the same driver instead! I asked him before we got in the car if he would accept our credit card, he said, "YES" in front of 5 witnesses, but demanded 25 euros CASH when we arrived at the train station, claiming he'd have to pay high taxes if he took credit cards! Whatever "arrangement" this hotel and this driver have can't be legal. We felt we were taken advantage of, lied to, and scammed out of 35 euros!

We walked to the hotel from Nice station which was quiet away however it was enjoyable but there are steps! The hotel itself was amazing within the residential district so was lovely and quiet and only a short walk into Nice old town. The rooms were lovely and and super comfy. Big shout out to "Kevin" who made our stay very enjoyable and provided some really lovely and unexpected items for our little dog.
