Nice wee break will choose hotel again next trip to dundee

Nice location close to shopping centre very clean room breakfast staff very attentive and polite nice selection of continental and cooked food. No evening meals but plenty of choice for food within walking distance.

Arrived on sunday got told bar was closed but could get a drink if we wanted one as we were staying in hotel we went back later on asked reception if we could get a drink and was told bar was shut and couldn't get a drink

brilliant as always. fantastic staff. massive shout out to Kim who always goes above and beyond for us! thank you! nothing is ever too much. breakfast great, rooms spacious and clean and comfy beds!

Great location

Staff very friendly and helpful, great location, excellent parking facility.

The building has great potential, however there is a lot of tear and wear, which makes the premises not look at their best.

Convenient location, ate in the sushi restaurant next door which was lovely

Stayed on the hottest day of the year and the room was too warm and couldn’t open the window. To be honest I didn’t check with reception if they had a fan but assumed not

The location was terrific, breakfast was ok and free parking was certainly very much appreciated

When we checked in we were told breakfast times. We didnt think we had breakfast booked but thought we wouldn't be told the times if we weren't due breakfast. Turned up to the breakfast and it was totally inedible. When we checked out we were told we had to pay for the breakfast. If we had known this we wouldnt have bothered. Fiver was knocked off the price but even paying £15 for what we were served is a pisstake. Lesson learned to double check upon arrival.

Very pleasant overnight stay

We came for an overnight stay to visit Dundee university - it was perfectly located, near the Campus but only a short walk into the centre. There were lots of nice places to eat and drink nearby. We thought the hotel was very good value for the money - the staff were very helpful and the rooms were comfortable and well stocked with tea, coffee etc.

Location in the city center very close to the Discovery point, large room, large and comfortable bed and clean towels.

Dated interior and a small and slightly dirty bathroom. The hotel is 50 years past it's glory time and in a dire need of refurbishment.

Overall no big complaints

I liked the location as it was extremely close to my campus, Staff very friendly, My husband loved the food, Lift available, Waiting before check-in and after check-out was fine for them, Allowed to keep baggage till room became available

Hotel room very clean and warm and got toiletries.

The location, being surrounded in abundance with restaurant's bars as hotel bar closed for drinks and food. All within walking distance too.

Nothing! Everything met my expectation and would highly recommend.

Great overnight stay.

Room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly. They don't have an evening chef for dinner but plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the offer was given for croquery and cutlery should we have wanted food in. Within walking distance of the science museum, hms discovery and the VO Museum. Plenty of shops also. Breakfast was great.

Is a little dated but not an issue as the hotel was very clean.
