Great breakfast; dinner very good, but expensive and limited choice if staying several days.
room very spacious and clean. Car could be parked right outside room.
Amazing grounds to hotel, great for short walks.
Some shelving and hooks in the wet room would be useful.
Otherwise everything else was perfect.

The property of course is stunning. The gardens are small, but very pretty. The old school vibe is very interesting to immerse yourself in. Contrary to others reviews - Breakfast was actually really nice.
I booked the superior room (£300+) in the main building (pictured with a bath) and had only a shower, also the music from reception could be heard until late at night when it was finally switched off. I understand that its an old place and not built to block out a radio, but its kind of wild that you pay several hundred pounds to sleep in this hotel & you have the radio playing through your pillow.
