The room was small and compact but with everything you need. The bathroom has recently been done up and looks in a good condition. Sheets and pillows where good.
Best part was the gym/swimming pool and sauna area which comes with the room. This is not just some tack on the side but for some people it is there regular gym. I did not use the gym as I had already been that day to my regular gym but the equipment was in good condition and the changing rooms were in a good condition. My wife and I used the sauna/pool which was nice and had a chat with a number of members.
The restaurant/bar is designed for the golf course and the local cider was really good and I had the fish and chips and it was the best I have had in long time.
I would come back if I needed accommodation in the area

Facilities, staff and breakfast all good.
Bed comfortable.
Furniture in room needs upgrade.
No bedside cabinet on one side of bed in room 7, had to use narrow window ledge for bits and pieces.
Restaurant not open for 2 of our 4 nights.

The staff were friendly. Large gym and pool. Breakfast was good.
It felt really disorganised and basic. Stopped serving food early. Pool out of order on second day which is reason we booked. Rooms were stuffy and small.
