Concert Break

Lovely comfortable room, 20 minute walk to the Seafront. Quiet location, Food at the Hotel is excellent, staff all really friendly and helpful

A great location with excellent staff- we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I would highly recommend this hotel for a family group- the staff were friendly and outstanding in trying to make everything run smoothly for us -they went over and above our expectations. The food was excellent both breakfast and evening. Checking in and out was great and the location was perfect- we could walk into the town and to the beach.

There was nothing we could fault :-)

Lovely stay

Lovely hotel with an amazing restaurant, food was lovely. Room was very nice but had no wardrobe or drawers for clothes. Free bottle of Prosecco and non alcoholic IPA (strange) in fridge in room.

Very comfortable stay

We usually avoid rooms in pubs but we chose 'The Pavilion Arms' as it is just round the corner from our daughter who we were visiting. We were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was especially after being greeted on our arrival by a full pub garden of people enjoying the warm weather. The room was comfortable and clean and we were very grateful for the fan that was provided. Breakfast was excellent - cooked to order with a lot of choice - and served by absolutely lovely breakfast staff. It's also a really good pub with a great outdoor space so it was a nice to be able to enjoy a couple of drinks on the terrace after our meal out. We will be happy to return. :-)

A bit nit-picky but house-keeping could be a little better - for example, there was no milk in the fridge so we couldn't have a cup of tea in our room in the morning. We would have been able to go down to get some though so just a minor inconvenience really.

poor menu choice. the start time for breakfast was later than usual at 8am and not all material was available at the start eg milk for cereal. Parking was limited at times.

Would recommend.

Greeted by a member of staff who took us to our room & explained everything. There was also a personalised welcome letter & music playing in the room, on our arrival, which was cosy, nicely decorated with lovely furnishings. It was also very clean with a comfy bed & good mini bar & toiletries. Good breakfast too. 20 minute walk into the centre of town.

In the room we were in (West Cliffe), our bed was right up against the window with no ability to step out to the side or at the bottom, so had to climb over my husband to get to the bathroom. It wasn't a problem for us, but could be if you weren't that flexible!

Great dog friendly hotel

Fantastic location. Comfortable room with tea and coffee making facilities. There was a fan, a TV and a radio. Breakfast was included and was great. The whole place was dog friendly and there were bowls and treats for the dogs too. We would definitely stay here again!

The shower was too hot and difficult to adjust. This was explained on check in but we struggled with it every morning!

This is a delightful boutique hotel and I would definitely stay here again

The hotel was warm and welcoming on arrival and the receptionist very helpful. My room, described as a cosy room although not huge, was a total delight! There were pretty welcoming furnishings, with soft lighting and radio playing quietly with classic music. It was warm and spotless throughout and the extra facilities with an alarm clock, various extras of snacks and drinks and really nice soft furnishings, such as cushions and pillows so lovely! All in the very fine and well thought out detail. The bed was huge and super comfy with beautiful linen. I liked my room at the front of the hotel looking out and with the outside seating area all set with cushions and throws it felt as though all aspects were covered. The bar area was nice and cosy.

It was unfortunate that the hotel had an issue (seemingly an aerial problem) with the TVs and so I had no tv throughout my stay. It was only one night so not too bad but I do like to catch up with the news on TV in the mornings, especially local news wherever I am.

Convenient location and nice evening meal. Lovely toiletries provided.

Shower was boiling hot and no cold water available so I couldn’t shower, room very hot and couldn’t open window due to food spells coming into room, hotel reception desk area really dirty and there was some black mould/grime on the base of the shower door

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Bedroom was lovely, had everything we needed and more. Ended up spending our evening

Enjoyable visit

Very friendly welcoming staff, warm, cosy, quirky room with comfortable bed and powerful shower, Bramley toiletries an unexpected luxury. Well cooked and presented food for supper and breakfast, good location.

Could have been warmer in the restaurant, but the accommodation area was a comfortable temperature.

Our stay at The Pavillion Arms was absolutely amazing. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfy. The room was very clean.

The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the centre.

The pictures.

I was hasty in my opinion and thought the property was dirty, it wasn’t. This impression came from the small reception area which was untidy and unwelcoming. What I didnt expect was that the hotel/inn was on a very busy main road, my mistake i should have checked, so the rooms are not peaceful to sleep in.

Lovely pub with great rooms

The bedroom was nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom with lovely toiletries. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast cooked to order. We had dinner in the pub as well and food was great.
