We requested ground floor, which we are grateful we got. Unit 19 was very well presented. Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water for showers. Pool and surrounds beautifully maintained. Plenty of sun loungers and tables and chairs. Pool very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was great. 2 min walk to bus stop to shops or Cairns central. Cost 25cents pp. Eateries close. We went to Pickles down the road which was good.

Great location! Room facilities were excellent. So good to have access to washing/drying in your room. Good parking available and access to public transport.
Stairs! Unfortunately there were stairs from the car park and we were on second floor, next visit I would ask for ground access, less stairs.

Friendly staff and beautiful hotel generally, however a bit old
The hotel was generally good, view from room on swimming pool, it is bit old and not everything working fine, our bedroom fan didn't work, it would be ok in summer just to put air-conditioning on but winter has been not nice, however, stuff helped it sorted (thanks we arrived on their working hours). Located far from shops, so you need a car, otherwise travel 40 minutes by bus to nearest shopping centres. But the main problem was swimming pool which was under trees and not heated. The hotel has no undercover swimming pool as well, therefore it was very cold water in it. We swam only couple times within 8 days of staying there. There's also only one restaurant near in the area, but if you have a car its ok

Pool was great, great location across the road from the beach and short drive to Cairns
Cleanliness was terrible not nice getting in the shower with previous guest down below body hair all ove the floor. Kitchen cupboards inside and out dirty
