Location and Rooms were large and comfortable

Perfect location, spacious room size. Both water bottles and coffee pods were replaced daily… a nice extra.
We had an executive deluxe room with a balcony overlooking the marina (high end cost) but the bathroom was very disappointing and desperately in need of an upgrade. The shower was in a very high sided bath that was difficult to get in and out off. The tap handle to adjust the water flow fell off the wall when using it. Not what we expected for the price.

Location is great, next to the Reef terminal, Marina, easy walk to everything
Shangri-La is a famous name that naturally raises expectations. Unfortunately, this hotel doesn’t feel like a five-star. It’s dated, worn, and in need of renovation. Not worth the price.
We booked a “city view” room, but the main view was actually at the parking lot. Multiple garbage trucks came under our window every morning at 7 am.
For some reason we got an “accessible” room, with a bathroom for disabled people. Which by itself is not a problem, but definitely doesn’t fit the 5-star image. It felt like a motel.
Overall, definitely not worth the five-star price.
And additional costs for the parking, this is ridiculous.
