We stayed in Pestana Casino Park Hotel for a week and enjoyed our stay (specially the cleaning/room service).
I wouldn't rate it as 5 star hotel but you get what you pay for. Compared with other hotels in the neighbourhood, I think it offers good value for money.

Great location. Lovely pool areas. Lovely styled hotel. Breakfast great. Room was lovely amd comfortable.
Parking for hotel guests should be free. And not enough plugs in hotel room.

Location. Shower was excellent. Late check out time of 12 noon
Tea/coffee facilities in the room- only 2 small portions of milk left- both were off and curdled.
Had to ask 3 times for cold milk for coffee at breakfast
Hot breakfast was NOT hot at all
