Continua a ser um fabuloso hotel

Continua a ser um fabuloso hotel, valendo sobretudo pela sua arquitectura e localização. Vistas do hotel e do próprio quarto Oferta de piscinas (exterior, interior e rooftop) Simpatia e disponibilidade dos funcionários

O pequeno-almoço sendo bastante bom, decepcionou relativamente ao que me recordava do Casino Park de outros tempos e relativamente a outros hóteis da mesma categoria. Amenities praticamente inexistentes no quarto. E nem uma garrafa de água de cortesia.

The hotel is more a 4 stars than a 5 stars

Toilet in the room with a bit old look and definitely not of a 5 stars standards. Bed sheet not properly done.

Perfectly fine for the price point, but not worth a premium.

Nice view, fairly good location.

Place is a bit dated and scruffy around rooms and corridors, but it's clean and good enough, but I would not pay a premium for it.

Trés bon hotel

Personnel très sympa . On nous a mis dans une chambre vue mer pour le prix de celle côté montagne. Super petit déjeuner très complet dans un beau cadre . Petit déjeuner simple si on désire le prendre très tôt. Piscines extérieures et intérieur , spa , salle de gym.. Bien situé . On peut faire le centre de Funchal à pied.

Le parking .. Seulement 6 places gratuites pour un si grand hotel. Prix du parking payant abusé (15€/jour) . Autant se garer sur le coté du casino (6,40€/ nuit)

Great stay, great service.

Great stay. We didn’t use the pool, but the facilities were great. Breakfast was average. But everything else spot on. They had drinks and music in the evening. As well being super helpful through out my stay. I was in a mare, lost my passport and all sorts. They contacted the local taxi service/ airport and helped me secure it back!

Breakfast was the same every morning. Perhaps variety on different days.

Nice stay, uncomfortable bed

The facilities in this hotel are quite good and the location is fantastic. Super restaurants less than five minute walk away. Beautiful views, lovely pool areas. Great choice at breakfast. Spa is really nice, we had lovely massages. All staff helpful and friendly any time we had a question.

We stayed here on honeymoon and I had let the hotel know this prior to our to stay and it wasn't mentioned on check in or nothing left in our room to say congratulations. I was also six months pregnant and I'd asked for a nice comfortable room however the bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in in my life. My lower back was so sore every morning after sleeping in it. I had to ask a few times for extra pillows to make it bearable. There should be tea and coffee facilities in rooms in a five star hotel.

It suited my reason for this trip to Madeira, namely a complete rest in lovely surroundings

Breakfast was amazing. Grounds were very well kept. Although the hotel seemed to be very busy there was plenty of space around the pool.

I do not like buffet dinners, it is fine for breakfast but not for an evening meal. I appreciate the desire to not create waste but it would be helpful if on arrival guests could be given information about what was available. I did not like having to ask for things such as a kettle and a bath robe.

Superb spacious brutalist architecture but rooms looking a little shabby.

Breakfast generally good . But no muesli or granola . No fish / smoked salmon etc . Coffee served from a machine where you join the queue ! Good coffee though . Location excellent . Easy walk into town . Brutalist architecture not to everyone’s taste but I loved it . Period Bauhaus style furniture in common parts are wonderful . Lobby area and restaurant space spacious and lovely outlook . Gardens and trees around pool area really beautiful . Staff excellent .

A little dated in places . Bedroom furniture looking a bit shabby . Carpets could do with an upgrade . No tea / coffee facilities in room . Bathroom cosmetics from a plastic plunge bottle . Sunbeds and parasols past their best . Some broken . The indoor pool / sauna area should be restful but they let kids bomb the water, scream and use the pool to like the public baths . So it’s not a calm spa experience . Beware if you’re in a room overlooking the casino sometimes they hold summer open air music festivals in the park and loud music is played until the early hours . Take ear plugs !

Grwat all round experience.

The hotel was in a good location with easy walking access to the town centre and amenities. The hotel was spacious with great facilities and lots of outside space, not common to all better hotels in Funchal. The hotel was modern, the rooms were spacious and the air conditioning was quieter than most hotels I have stayed in, meaning you could leave it on all night. The hotel staff also were happy to accommodate our request for a double bed and I mentioned we were celebrating our wedding anniversary during our stay at the hotel, they very thoughtfully gave us a bottle of bubbly, which was left in our room on our return to the hotel on the day of our anniversary. A great hotel all round and will definitely stay there again.

No major complaints or criticisms, other than there were a couple of minor repairs required, to the wardrobes and bathroom fittings. It would have also been nice if like the first day, small bottles of drinking water were provided each day.

we had a very pleasant stay and would do it again

loved the architecture with its rounded salons and magnificent views- also it is well located, close to restaurants and stores. the bed was comfortable

the bedrooms feel somewhat old with need of serious repairs, especially the bathroom. the tub was tiny and slippery.

Exceptional

The hotel was great including many aspects like location, room space and balcony and breakfast. Simply pleasant stay here!

A bit unclear parking option (two parking lots in area, but one (casino dedicated) is twice more expensive than the other) and hard to distinguish each other on first time. Occasional internet unavailability in room over wifi (but happen one time only).

At the beginning it felt like an old and outdated hotel. but after settling in, I felt so good that I decided to extend my stay. very relaxing , staff, food, location great. even if it is a huge hotel, it has this boutique hotel vibe, thanks to the lively staff.
