Rooms were large and well equipped

The rooms were very spacious and had the nice French feel.
At the time, it was a heat wave and the aircon was down, but there were plenty of windows and when I complained to the staff they quickly provided a fan, buckets of ice and were very accomodating. The location isn’t the best, people advised it is a dodgy area, but I felt perfectly fine and safe roaming the streets late by myself ( single female) and the shops nearby were cheap and convenient. So if you dont like walking, it might be an issue getting to main attractions - but we should all strive to keep our steps up.

The hotel was lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful, the rooms (we got junior suites) were fabulous. The location was convenient (short walk from Gare du Nord).
The surrounding area (no fault of the hotel). Within the hotel walls it was safe and comfortable, stepping out of the gates was a different story. I was not comfortable walking anywhere alone at any time of the day and definitely not at night.

Stylish and extremely comfy beds
It was in a really rough area, didn’t feel we could leave the hotel at night with the kids on foot and used taxis. Also the large jaccuzi ‘pool’ was not included in the price of the stay and they wanted 30 Euros per person, per time session! The gym was out also out of use for our stay. The manager was excellent, but the other staff seemed disinterested and lazy.
