The rooms were pretty spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had some decent selections and the place is clean. I liked the closeness of the train station and the metro. I find Line 4 the most useful when in Paris and it is just a one minute walk. The hotel is clean and the staff is polite and helpful. Our room was quiet.
The location was very good for transport links. Gare de l'est and the metro are so close. During the day, it was a comfortable neighbourhood. The feeling was a bit different after dark and there seemed to be rowdy groups hanging around after dark.

By far the comfiest pillows I have EVER had in a hotel.
Location is super convenient when you travel through Gare de L’Est.
Very friendly staff. Rooms were clean.
For three people the room was a tad small, but in the end we only stayed for a night. So it was not an issue.

Lots of noise you can’t sleep because of the noise.. lots of bars nearby
