Everything! The receptionists were wonderfully friendly and helpful, the location - perfect, an easy walk from the station and very close to the lake and the famous bridges, breakfast was great and I loved the history and charm of the hotel, there were many treasures on display in the corridors, my favourite was the antique rocking horse. Dinner at the Terrace was also wonderful. I appreciated the free coffee and tea available in the guest lounge, and the evening visits from the lovely woman who gave out ideas for tours for the following day.

Ideal, central location—just one street back from the lakefront and a quick one-minute walk to the water. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. Every staff member we encountered—from reception to housekeeping and restaurant staff—was exceptionally kind, welcoming and helpful.
