4 night stay in our favourite Swiss city - a lovely experience hopefully we’ll repeat again

Lovely room with balcony & lake/alps view - fantastic breakfast menu - staff were always friendly & obliging - so comfortable & quiet - great beds, coffee machine with replenished capsules, little box of local chocolates on arrival couldn’t ask for more!

A great stay in the centre of historic Luzern

Great location close to the centre and train station. The staff were lovely. There was a coffee machine in the room and biscuits were left for us which was a nice touch. The hotel breakfast in the restaurant was lovely.

The room was a bit small and hot. There is no air conditioning but we were provided with a fan. There was a duvet and no sheet which made it hot to sleep.

Had a comfortable stay in Lucerne, breakfast was by voucher and would only include to a limit of 18.50 per voucher. Your

location is perfect, central to everything, train station, shops, and sight seeing.

Nice location but no a/c and super tiny shower

Great location and super nice staff. Breakfast is super - not a buffet though.

No air conditioning so very warm in the room. Very loud and noisy street especially when you need to keep window open. Super tiny shower I could barely move in and bathroom was sooooo small

Pleasant & enjoyable!

Excellent location.

Our room was at top floor. Elevator was not working for one day. I had walking issues; still had to walk the stairs without any option … Repairs done in 1 day …

Historic hotel in central location. Highly recommended.

Central location - perfect for discovering the city on foot. The staff were very helpful and even provided a parking pass for us to unload our bags before parking across the river. The hotel has a preferential rate for parking so be sure to ask. The hotel has a lovely restaurant and bar on the lakefront which we used a few times; very friendly staff.

he hotel does not have air conditioning; open your windows at night and keep the lights off and you will be fine. Request a room on the lower floors which are cooler.

The location and view were nice. The staff was also friendly.

You are not allowed to open the windows due to bugs and mosquitoes because of the lake, however there is no air conditioning in the entire hotel. The room was an absolute sauna sweat box. There is zero air flow but they do provide a fan. I requested a second one and even with that it was unbearably hot. This hotel needs to either install screens on the windows so you can open the windows for air and cooling, or install air conditioning in the rooms. For 400 Euros a night I would absolutely stay somewhere else.

Disappointing

Location was great

There was no air conditioning and there were bugs all over our room when we got there. The beds were quite uncomfortable and the shower was very small and difficult to use. Really bad value for what we paid

Breakfast was not included and very expensive ( 25 CHF) Check was at 3.00 PM thus was expected to be earlier Reception is not open until 8.00 AM in the morning

Very good

The hotel was centrally located with the prime attractions just at stones throw.

Staff was not very helpful when asked about wifi connectivity and was blunt to say that it was working for them so it was my problem. Not very courteous.

Nice chocolate treats on arrival.

The Internet didn’t work and I couldn’t contact my family. Had to go out in the street to find service. unacceptable. There were other guests complaining of the same issue. The heating in my room also didn’t work.

Great location and view, with very helpful staff

Stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The location is great, close to shops and restaurants and we had a room overlooking the bridge which was lovely and still very quiet. The room was very comfortable and the staff were incredibly helpful. Our breakfast wasnt included but we ate at the restaurant and staff were friendly and efficient and the food was good (it was just expensive compared to other European cities, but that is Switzerland).

Great view

The hotel room view is nice, overlooking the Chapel Bridge. Hotel is also quite near the main station, though I couldn't find the hotel entrance at the start as it is located in the alley, and not facing the bridge.

Our toilet lights get switched off automatically at different frequency. Not sure how and what trigger it. I believe the exhaust fan was connected to their hotel kitchen, hence the toilet have cooking smell at night.
