The staff were nice, the room was sparkling clean, the location is perfect right across from the Bahnhoff. The room was very small, but had everything you needed—that is, a bed a chair and a desk. There is a little table for your phone next to the bed with electricity and also electricity by the desk for your computer. The bathroom was relatively large for the size of the room. I gave only an eight instead of a 10 because it was spartan, my room looked out only on an alley with a glimpse of the Hauptbahnhof, and the shower was small. It may have been awkward for a person larger than myself. However, I was very happy and had everything that I needed. If you need to stay overnight in Hamburg to catch an early plane, this is so much better than the very expensive and impersonal hotel at the airport.

The hotel is located directly across from the central station, so perfect for our needs. We only stayed one night as we had an early departure the next morning. If you plan to stay longer, it's super convenient as you can walk into town, the hop-on-hop-off busses are right across the street to and you have access to all trains.
Everything was good. I personally wouldn't want to spend my entire holiday in this hotel but for a few nights it's perfect.

Lovely staff, beautiful building, I asked if I can get a room with a bathtub and my wish was granted. Everything was clean, the building is really nice. I did even have a kind of a manual AC stored in my wardrobe which I could have used. 24 hours reception. Next door restaurants are great, 5 mins walk is Edeka. There is a bus stop is just few meters from the hotel. You can walk to the city center just around the trainstation, it takes 5 mins at max.
If you have a room in the back of the building, you may get lost for a moment - take the elevator to the 1st floor, turn left, then you`ll see staff elevator and a long hall leading to a small yard (for smoking), turn left again down the stairs, where is a seating area with a coffee machine and take an elevator to the upper floors.
The location is bit noisy as can be expected, but with closed windows you dont hear a thing. That is the price for being located just across the Hamburg trainstation.

The location.
The room was very cramped and small. The bathroom was stuck in a corner and the toilet almost impossible to use in such a tiny space. We had to use the hotel's public toilets. The sheets had blood stains on it.
