Our second room was clean
First room awford we were told it was “ a bit of an upgrade“. It was a corner room on floor 4 that was clearly a smokers room and was dirty. We went straight down to reception and they gave us a second room on the top floor, but unfortunately, this was next to one of the rooms being renovated. 9 am one morning and 8 am the next the drilling started. Went on until 6 pm. We were out anyway most of the days at a wedding and couldn’t face moving all our stuff for a third time, but it still was pretty disruptive. …we mentioned this to Staff as we checked out and they very kindly remove one of the breakfasts that we had as compensation. However, I do think they should be a bit more aware the Staff of which rooms they’re giving out and I wasn’t aware we had to request non-smoking rooms.

The location was great, right next to the Rhine River, and the castle attached to the hotel gave the whole place such a unique and charming vibe.
The room was impeccable and definitely lived up to the Hyatt reputation — clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained.
It’s also conveniently located near a bus stop and supermarket, with a few eateries within walking distance, which made getting around and finding food really easy.

Room was not ready at check-in time.
It also somehow appears as if the hotel had not returned to a daily cleaning routine after COVID19, at least 1 day the room was not cleaned properly (probably the room was still occupied when the cleaning personnel stopped by but no effort was made to clean afterwards).
There is no possibility to park the car just 10 minutes for check-in and then to park at a different location. People are basically forced to pay a far too expensive (25 EUR) parking fee in the hotel's garage.
Place is overpriced for what is being offered.
