A pleasant stay

It’s a beautiful old building in the center of Mainz Oldtown. The staff was wonderful!

Bed had two mattresses instead of one big one. For the price of 15€ we expected a little bit more from the breakfast buffet.

Super Unterkunft + Restaurant

Tolles Frühstück und außerordentlich nette Mitarbeiter. Finde zudem die Kultur toll, fremde Gäste zusammen an einen Tisch zu setzen! Ich hatte so tolle Gespräche und habe mich direkt willkommen gefühlt. Reservieren im Restaurant lohnt sich.

Séjour agréable

La situation de l'hôtel en plein centre de la vieille ville. Les lits confortables.

Le décor de la chambre est décevant, un peu froid. Il manque une lampe d'ambiance ( que des lumières au plafond et des liseuses près du lit) Ce qui m'a choquée c'est qu'un seul lit était fait parce que j'étais seule dans la chambre. Cela ne fait pas très accueillant ! Il faut savoir aussi que les cloches de la cathédrale sonnent à partir de 6 h du matin… Tant pis pour les grasses matinées :(

Fabulous hotel, and what a location!

Perfectly located hotel right in the old town. Super friendly and helpful staff. The room was exceptionally clean. The restaurant attached to the hotel served fabulous food. There is a courtyard garden and 1st floor balcony that overlooks the Catherdral spires. We couldn't fault our stay and would happily stop here again.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. There truly were no negative points.

Okay. Würde es nicht nochmal buchen.

Die Rezeption war abends nicht besetzt. Ich musste immer im Restaurant nach jemandem fragen und warten. Direkt unter dem Hotel ist ein Restaurant, so dass es bis spät abends sehr laut auf dem Zimmer war. Um 0 Uhr noch laut Stühle verschoben. Personal schon früh morgens sehr laut unterhalten.

I would be happy to stay here again.

The staff made us feel very comfortable and were very good at their job. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Altstadt.

Location is excellent. Right in the heart of the Altstadt. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was possibly the most powerful I have ever used....fabulous!

Excellent Hotel

Hotel central to everything. Clean and breakfast was excellent. We also had a meal one night in the beer garden and it was excellent. They do some lovely vegetarian food. I would definitely recommend Hof Enrenfels.

Great location and restaurant

Perfect location in the old city, halfway between the train station and the river. comfortable recently renovated rooms. Great restaurant and wine bar.

A bit noisy in the street side. With no AC, the open windows let in street noise and smoke from people outside the restaurant next door.

Good and relaxing stay in the friendly hotel.

Breakfast was very good and tasty. The location of the hotel is excellent.

Disappointing

The room was enough space and clean. But they didn't have house keeping during 2 days stay. I got disappointed.

People of this hotel were not helpful. They didn't do house keeping and they didn't change the towel, water and bed making.

Excellent central location. Very clean room with nice view of the cathedral

Small bathroom. Had to collect key from cultural centre across the road as reception not yet manned. Hotel corridors still being redecorated.

Perfect small friendly hotel for a visit to Mainz.

Great location in centre of Alstadt. Friendly staff good breakfast and liked the wooden tables. Nice courtyard restaurant.

This was our 2nd visit to the hotel. As before very friendly staff, excellent food and service. Location is perfect for exploring the old town of Mainz.
