Where to begin, after staying 10 nights in Mina Al Salam there is only one destination we will ever return to. It is the gold standard of hotels and service and we will only ever return to Jumeirah hotels nothing else is on par. This is speaking from experience and staying in other hotels on the palm. From the moment you arrive, the level of genuine welcome and care is unmatched. - Diego at the front desk welcomed us like family. Have to mention Cindy in the lounge and Ismail outside in the beach for the outstanding service they provide where nothing was too much. Housekeeping have to be mentioned as they are all simply outstanding. The hotel and the staff are a masterclass in luxury hospitality that leaves you counting down the days until your return.
There is honestly nothing we didn't like.

We stayed at Al Naseem as Al Qasr was closed due to renovations. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well ventilated. Pools were family friendly.
More options for food required for children especially at dinner times.

This hotel was incredible! It is the biggest hotel I’ve ever seen, the gym was unreal, beach is immaculate and the pool ice cold. The staff were the most kind people and so attentive, a man name Ismail works on the beach and it was 42 degrees outside but he ensured we were having a nice time. 10/10 service.
Nothing but we came in the off season so weather was extremely hot but we got the hotel to ourselves it felt.

It's a majestic property and beautifully designed. Most staff are brilliant and the pool and sea areas are superb.
It feels very corporate. The welcome is nice but formulaic and not all the ocean view rooms view the ocean. In particular around room 411 which looks partly to a wall and partly to wind towers of the buildings in front. It does point in the direction of the sea!
Although the hotel acknowledged that the ocean view room lacked a view of the ocean, they showed me another with an even worse aspect looking at a different wall, then kept me waiting for 40 minutes to tell me all they could do was upgrade me to a suite costing almost 4 times the amount per night to the ocean view I had requested. Now, to be fair, although they didn't move on the price they threw in club lounge access and early check-in which was kind.
Also, on the Saturday the hotel was absolutely packed with people visiting and the pool area reverberates with the brunch band playing on the terrace.
In essence, a lovely hotel with a great location but too corporate, a little slow in acknowdging an issue, having no flexibility to do the right thing and offer a room with an ocean view and all in all, as. Gold Jumeirah One member for a decade or more, offering next to no loyalty to Jumeirah supporters.
