The location. The room size. The comfy bed.
The price of the in house drinks, meals and services .
The room was basic and there were little/no information about the facilites or what was available.

The hotel is located in a grand, scenic, beautifully and simply stunning location. The view is breath-taking. The Hotel was conveniently located right next to the Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion and offered an incredible view of the Parliament together with a mesmerising view of the Pest side, Chain Bridge and St Stephan's Basilica.
The hotel staff offered exceptional service, dedication and hospitality not only to staying guests, but even passersby, wandering into the hotel after directions to their next sightseeing destination.
I was generously offered my room before noon as it was already available. The executive lounge was beautifully situated with a spectacular view onto the Parliament. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast and evening hor d’oeuvres with drinks immersed in the incredibly comfortable, cosy, and scenic lounge. The attentiveness of the staff was amazing. There was an option to dine in the Lang restaurant for breakfast too with a greater of variety of food options. Again, another generous provision from Hilton allowing different dining options for breakfast.
My room delivered a stunning Danube view. It was sensational, the large window offered an incredible view of the Pest side, the Danube River, the castle and much more. The Hilton Budapest experience far exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff, location of the hotel, public transport connection and the outstanding quality of the hotel in every manner from the moment I stepped into its doors made my trip an unforgettable one in such an awesome way.

We booked the room with the River View and it was really amazing experience inside the room looking outside at the parliament and so on. The historical tour in the basement about the entire building was very cool. Enjoyed that walk and learning more about it. Of course the location is amazing.
There is a rooftop bar where the guests will not be able to get in. If we don’t book a reservation however, we didn’t know the stuff upstairs was a bit rude. It was kind of like a disco rooftop bar and all night it was going so it was a bit loud. The restaurant in the hotel was unavailable due to private event so we couldn’t really eat there and enjoy the views also the small bar area was not really a good location in the hotel or of the other gas or just walking through that area and no views. Also when we got there, they charged us a large amount of money for the Vali parking and they charged us for breakfast to which it’s OK but the breakfast stuff weren’t allow us to pick a table and was kind of rude when we wanted to sit down at the window and redirected us because it was only two of us. We paid a lot of money to be there.

The location is excellent and the cleanliness and hygiene standards were excellent.
I was disappointed by the attitude of the staff across several departments—including reception, concierge, and restaurant personnel. They appeared frustrated and seemed either untrained or not motivated, which spoiled the overall experience.
This was particularly noticeable because during my visits to other hotels and services in Budapest, restaurants and taxis, the staff there were consistently courteous, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, the service level at Hilton Budapest did not meet these expectations. I sincerely hope the hotel can address these issues to align its guest service quality with the generally high standards found elsewhere in the city.
