This was a very convenient place. The area is good and it feels safe. I didn't use the metro when I stayed there, but there is a bus stop just below the hotel that you can use and go to the city center (this is what I used). There was also a balcony in the room which I liked when I wanted to sit outside. I think this is a value for money place in Barcelona.
If you plan to work on your laptop, the one-bed room may not be the best choice as there is not a lot of space for a small desk. This is not something that was advertised by the hotel but I am just pointing it out. Otherwise, everything met my expectations.

ok location, overall good facilities, friendly staff. the room was very clean and cleaned regularly, there was bottled water, coffee and tea for us every day
the check in required filling ink-and-paper paperwork, the receptionist messed up our names but said it was not a big deal and just told us to sign.
the room is really really small. the shower leaked on the floor through the door. the hotel does not serve breakfast, which makes value for money even lower

We had a lovely stay. Great location, rooms were cleaned daily and amenities were great including fresh bottled water daily. Lovely and friendly staff who were more than happy to help!
Could hear noises eg running water quite loudly from neighbouring rooms and out in the hallway however this was not a huge issue and was quiet at night.
