Quiet location, attractive communal areas in the hotel and the pool area was great. Food in the restaurant was tasty.
The room was rather basic, I suppose to be expected in a finca, but bathroom in the room was quite smelly, maybe due to bad drainage. The room was a little dark. The service by some of the staff wasn’t very friendly.

Location, environment, charm, the breakfast, the view
We discovered in arrival that we were not at the main part of the finca but at a secondary house with its own pool.
Disappointed at first we looked at it positively having a short walk to go to breakfast or to the pool with view (2min)
Staff is not very attentive to the guests , and cleaning staff is not active. We had to request every day to make the room that was not done still after 5pm and the staff would then Do bare minimum …
No bar/service at our pool. So if we want to have a drink at the pool like the other guests at the other pool or snacks, not possible

The property is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and the pool is genuinely lovely. As always, special mention to Carmen for her warmth and hospitality. A word also for the young waiter who served us at dinner: always attentive and kind.
We have been returning to this property for several years, precisely for the qualities mentioned above, and we always considered it fair value for money. It is exactly because we are fond of it that we feel obliged to leave constructive criticism.
We have noticed a significant increase in prices over the years, not matched by any increase in quality; on the contrary, matched by a clear decline. Compared with what is available elsewhere on the island, the price is starting to feel no longer fair and appropriate, but excessive.
Specifically, this year we found:
- Pool with loose stones and quite dirty, without regular vacuuming.
- Rooms with accumulated dirt under the beds and in the corners of the bedrooms and bathrooms, suggesting only superficial cleaning.
- Visible wear on fittings, comodities and materials, with no replacement.
- A sewage smell in the outdoor common area.
- Gardens losing the beauty that once characterised them.
- Spa pools without proper heating or systems in working order.
- Breakfast items that ran out and were not restocked for the entire week.
- Restaurant and common areas systematically closed at 22:30.
Overall, this is a loss of quality that does not match the rise in price, and the price no longer seems fair to us. We stress that this is meant constructively: we would like to keep coming back, and to see quality maintained at a property that stands out for its beauty.
