Location is quite useful if you'd like to experience the historic center everyday of your stay. The kitchen staff is gentle enough that I asked for a fewer eggs in my breakfast and serve them; however, that cost $3 extra dollars which is a bit ridiculous.
I reserve for a single bed room, but I ended up in a room with two single beds. The WiFi is terrible, so do not expect to work or have leisure time spent online

The hotel is cozy and elegant and not particularly cold (this is Cuenca so everywhere is chilly.) The hotel uses passive solar for the second and third floors and has a gas-powered heater in the breakfast room. Although this is my third stay at Hotel Posada del Angel it was my first time to try the Italian cuisine in their restaurant on the first floor--excellent!

Good location - 10 minutes walk to the cathedral square which is the center of the city. Excellent restaurant onsite. Good breakfast (eggs to order with bread, jam, yogurt etc. The place has lots of character with lots of antiques around. Staff very helpful.
