My visit to Cuenca

Excellent location at El Centro. Close to may restaurants, museums, and other tourists attractions. Close to tranvia and other means of transportation in a city

We have never been to Ecuador before and they made us feel at home.

Historic past uses of the building, excellent location, and excellent staff very courteous. The complementary breakfasts were very tasty, and the staff was very courteous.

Very noisy road work was being done on the street right outside from 11 PM to 7 AM. I am sure the hotel could do nothing about the noise but with it being an historic building I don’t think there’s anything they could have done. Maybe they could have provided earplugs for guests to alleviate this.

great hotel , in wonderful position but lots of external noise

beautiful old building , in central position , staff were very helpful

unfortunately the rooms are very noisy throughout the night , with music from the bars on until midnight , then cabs and car horns continuing through the night , also our bathroom had a horrible mouldy smell that was constantly there .

Royal experience in Cuenca

Best location in the city, super clean, with an amazing bed. The bathroom is modern with a massage shower. Our room, right on the corner, and the view of the church was spectacular. We got a very good deal through Booking, it seemed too good to be true and we were expecting something to go wrong but everything was perfect. Friendly and professional staff, very accommodating and helpful.

It can be noisy with street performers throughout the day, but it's quiet after 9pm or so.

Good location but super noisy place.

Location is perfect - middle of the city center. Nice colonial building. Spacious and clean rooms. Good view from balcony.

Very noisy place due to busy central street. Its not a hotel but apartments on upper floor. They don’t have reception - you deal on bar desk from downstairs cafe. The worst is restaurant 1 floor below the rooms - its noisy with loud music and all kitchen smoke comes to your room. Also they destroyed charming of old colonial building by placing cheap modern furniture into the rooms. If you are light sleeper I don’t recommend - earplugs is a must.

Being an old, historic building there is no elevator. You must be in good shape to climb 60+ stairs.

Excellent place, wouldn’t change it for nothing. But please fix the bed!

The location was simple my awesome. The view to the blue Cúpulas was invaluable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The bed had 2 broken legs, so it wasn’t flat, it had a significant bend at the middle. Please fix the bed!!

the bathroom shower has very old and complex to use. the bathroom needs updating generally as has a drain smell.
