A little noise from another guest but overall great

The staff were genuinely friendly, and the room was impeccably clean and comfortable.
No faults whatsoever.

Looks like newly refurbished, closed to shops
1, Safety?! No security guard around. Don’t need any ID to check-in, hotel gate open for anyone to walk in, don’t need any room key for go into lift, even Premier Inn has that set of security for their customers.
2, looks like newly refurbished, but still can tell very dated, the lift very old and slow, room air conditioner always stops itself.
3, dusty on the wall, on the tv, on the tv control, on the lights, etc.
4, Bath and sink drain both are very slow, lift the plug both are dirty and stink, still water drain out very slow, took shower in the puddle.
5, Fire alarm gone off for a few seconds, trying find out what’s going on, rang both reception and room service a few times never someone answered the phone.
6, car park charges £6 per day, if that’s in city centre reasonable but not this kind of location, very odd charge, should just include in the hotel price.
