Our superior room was incredible - really a suite! This was the best room and accomodation of our 18 day trip to Scotland. The furnishings were exquisite: loveseat, antique vanity desk and armoire. The amazing ceiling about 16 feet high! The staff were wonderful and welcoming. Ann on the front desk was wonderful.
Sadly we stayed on a Sunday and the restaurant was closed. We didn't get to enjoy the Angus steaks! Ann recommending a nearby hotel for dinner.

Location to town
Slightly tired decor and glory days gone Beds springs beginning to come to surface of mattress Shower flow poor Toilet seat had a slightly sharp curve which cut into skin slightly Cleaner in the morning abrupt about asking for things Shampoo and shower gel very minimal Stayed at better for less money with breakfast included Room hot although they lent us a fan No change of towels for 5 nights Poor choice at breakfast Continental breakfast was basically cereal and bit of fruit and toast No meats /cheese etc
