lovely room, pool and small but well equipped gym. The beds were comfy, room a very good size. Beautiful old building, well maintained. Quiet room.
Breakfast choice was nice with regards to full British, and very nice sweet treats (croissants and mini pain o chocolate and similar), but the savoury bread and fresh produce options were very limited. Only small packed highly processed cheeses . Uncut small choice of fruit - it is nice that there is fruit at all, but I would have hoped for more fresh and nicely prepared produce for a hotel of this standard and quality. A friendly "good morning" from the staff in the breakfast table would have been lovely too.

The property is beautiful and authentic, offering a different and charming experience. The staff were very nice, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. We really enjoyed the Roman pool and the jacuzzi, and the breakfast was good. The décor gives the place a lot of character and an authentic atmosphere. The golf course and surrounding greenery were also lovely, with plenty of sunshine and peaceful green spaces.
The main downside was the comfort of the beds. The double bed was actually made up of two single mattresses, so it wasn’t as comfortable as we expected. Our daughter was staying in our room, and a foldable bed was provided for her, but unfortunately it was very uncomfortable. The mattress was extremely thin, and she could feel the metal frame underneath, so she ended up sleeping with us.
We also found the restaurant a little overpriced considering the quality of the food.
