A friendly welcome from reception, our room was ready early and it was clean and spacious.
Pillows were a bit flat, shower on second morning wasn't as hot as it could have been. We only found out after we booked, that renovations were taking place, although we didn't feel impacted as we didn't want to eat in the restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They particularly enjoyed having our dog Luna staying at the hotel - and she was very pleased to receive the attention!
The bar food we had was also very good, and plentiful.
A little disappointed that the air-conditioning didn't work in room 112, and the bathroom extractor appeared not to work. But these were minor inconveniences, and overall we all loved the room.

Good disabled parking The Location,
We warned the the hotel was undergoing restoration, so didn't expect 5 star. but to get to the roon through the fire doors was a struggle having made to use the stairs because the lift had broken down, The presentation of the room was not welcoming, creased bed dirty bathroom mirror and no drinking glasses and one available elelctric socket for kettle, hair dryer and phone charger, unless you crawled on your hands and knees to where the tv was plugged in inside a cupboard.
