Both Paul and Heidi were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. The location was great and allowed us to enjoy exploring Canterbury which was a short 15 minute walk into the city centre. The breakfasts were both varied, offering something for everyone, and tasty and helped set us up for our days out. The room was well appointed, clean and ready on our arrival.
There isn't much not to like and the only slight drawback, which didn't unduly detract from our stay, was that our room was slightly tight for space however this would not stop us from recommending staying here and we would certainly be happy to re-book whenever we visit Canterbury in the future.

It’s a walking distance to the historic center
It’s a tiny detail. When you first get in a hotel room you use the toilet after your journey, you wash your hands and in my case I couldnt find a towel as their are nicely tidied in a drawer in the chest. So with wet hands, i opened the chest. It’s really a tiny detail as i like everything else

We had a lovely stay at Harriet House Bed & Breakfast in Canterbury. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the city centre, making it a really convenient base for exploring Canterbury.
Heidi and Paul were really pleasant and welcoming throughout our stay. When the shower in our room played up, they moved us to another room without any fuss at all, which we really appreciated. They struck the perfect balance of being friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive.
Breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from. I’d particularly recommend the Eggs Benedict, the homemade granola and the homemade marmalade — all excellent.
A comfortable, welcoming B&B in a great location, with lovely hosts and a very good breakfast. We would definitely recommend Harriet House and would happily stay again.

Breakfast was spot on even when I got it wrong. Location reasonable distance from town centre. Heidi and Paul couldn’t do enough for you.
Could charge £25 a night. Only joking, there was nothing I didn’t like
