Central location and ability to leave the car on site after arrival for the duration of our stay made it very easy and stress free.
(If arriving by car you do need to make sure you read the direction instructions and use the postcode in your confirmation email as we didn't and used the satnav which took us into the city one way system. You have to go around the other side of the cathedral to enter via Postern Gate, off of Burgate).
The hotel itself is peaceful and with amazing views of the cathedral itself. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming.
Our room had everything we needed and you could always ask for the tea/coffee to be replenished.
Breakfast was good - not the biggest or best in the world, but nice.
Really enjoyed our stay - very relaxing and would definitely recommend.

Some benefits with tickets for the cathedral, needed more prominence on site as we had already bought tickets.

The location is absolutely exceptional. It’s so exciting to stay right in the cathedral precinct. If you can phone and book your parking, you don’t regret it. The staff are excellent. The breakfast is very nice indeed.
We didn’t have an actual shower in our room. And the bed had seen better days.
