Absolutely lush.

Not a pleasant experience and room was overpriced.

Bed was comfortable.

Room and bathroom was awful. No telephone to contact reception, double sized bed head with king size mattress up against the wall at one side. Bearing in mind we were two OAPs the location of the bed made things difficult. There was a horrible musty smell in the room and bathroom. The light switch to the bathroom was very dirty and there were no handtowels in the bathroom. All in all, for the price we paid, the room was extremely basic and it did not feel particularly clean, it all just felt very tired and in dire need of a refurbishment. With regard to location, the busy roads outside were quite noisy.

Nice but outdated

Nice big room, and nice to have a bar and restaurant on site. easy free parking

We had a random person shouting and going through the corridor at 1am. I assume there are no night staff or security staff it was extremely unpleasant and off putting.

Underwhelming experience!

Very poor needs lots of investment to bring it up to an acceptable level. Overpriced for the condition of the hotel

Everything even the toilet seat was split that caused injury to the back of my buttock. Staff were uninterested when this was reported ! I left half way through my four night stay couldn’t wait to get home

Slept well enough but traffic is loud, king bed very comfortable.

Great full breakfast, replenished regularly.

Wasn’t there long enough. Straight in then straight out, room smelt musty and the drains stank as well. Never stayed

Nothing checked in 40 minutes later checked out

Everything, dated, dirty no food menu was told because it was bank holiday 😂😂 there was movement in the bathroom floor. Completely nothing like in the pictures.

Good value, clean and comfortable hotel in a good location.

Lots of character. Clean comfortable bed and room.

A bit of traffic noise and creaky floorboards. Chipped bathtub.

Indifferent Management ⁶

Nothing!

Lack of basic facilities. Wc that didn't flush,shower that didn't t work.Total indifference of management when asked about the problems when checking out .

Good value hotel with very good staff. Made to feel very welcome!

Lovely staff - and a good breakfast provided. This is good value for money. Good location too. Comfortable bed and hot water for the shower.

There were some cobwebs in the window …

Good stay good value for money

Booked a double room-really spacious. The building is old and a little outdated but the room is alright l, with basic facilities you need. Overall it’s good value for money.

The window can’t be closed hence sound proofing is bad.

Pleasant

The staff were extremely efficient and helpful. They are a real credit to the hotel.

The room was small for the £170 fee and not up to the standard I feel was acceptable for this standard of hotel. The bath fixings were falling apart and flaking paint on the walls. My room was close to reception and I could hear the music from a party going on. Breakfast is not served until 8am which is too late for me. The staff did do out of their way to provide me breakfast and coffee early. The offer a full vegan breakfast but were unable to locate the sausages. Breakfast was therefore beans mushrooms a tomato and hash browns.

i would stay again for price , but if i expereinced same issues again i wont stay a thrid time

good price, nice size room and large bathroom. great food served in the bar/restaurant

breakfast choices ran low, no coffee as well whilst i was sat having my breakfast. staff behind reception on checkout had no clue, busy talking amongst themselves about their work etc, only the foreign employees. cold tap in bathroom only had two settings,off or full on. im 6ft and shower head was less than my height so i had to bow down to get wet

Working stay over at Arnos Manor

We have stayed here a couple of times now whilst working in Bristol and have enjoyed our stay, facilities are good and staff are very helpful.

The roof in the courtyard where they serve breakfast needs fixing as when i rained the water was dripping in quite bad and buckets had to be put out.

Reasonably priced hotel

Great looking building, reception and bar areas are decorated well Bedroom was bigger than expected with a comfy bed. Didn't really hear any noise. Can walk into the city centre in around 30 mins or reasonably price for an Uber. Staff are very friendly.

The roof of the conservatory had loads of used small metal canisters on it that look like they'd been there a while. The spaces in the carpark are very tight.

Same as per!!

The room was lovely & quiet, which we like because I am a very light sleeper, the bed was so comfy and we didn’t have breakfast, mainly because last time we had to wait for each item quite a while, so couldn’t really enjoy because by the time what we wanted came out other items were gone, chosen by other guests!! So nothing was there all together & there was only about 8 other guests. One couple did actually ask for a refund because he was slightly annoyed!!

Room not bad, very comfortable bad, food awful.

Room was good if a bit tired, the king sized bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast was poor, evening meal was also poor. Majority of the meals on the evening menu were not available.

Conference break

The hotel was in excellent location with car parking spaces for conference i was attending. Staff were very pleasant helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and room was spacious ,comfortable and clean.

Value for money.

Nice, big hotel with a comfortable bed and a big room. Helpful staff. Everything you'd expect for the price. Good access to Bristol.

Parking was a little awkward - I arrived late and people had abandoned their cars all over the place so it was difficult to find a space to leave the car. Felt slightly in need of a facelift and I had LOTS of squeaky floors in my room!
