Location good for the evening event we were going to at Buxton Opera House.
The cooked breakfast was disappointing. Luke warm.
Not as nice as I have had there before..
The roof of the conservatory needed a good clean.

Lovely charming hotel with friendly staff, beautiful and comfortable room, great food, perfect location walking distance from the town centre and the Opera House and Pavilion Gardens. Would be very happy to stay again!
No air conditioning, which wasn't fun in the heatwave, but it's an old building and my room was comfortable enough with the windows open at night anyway.

Very clean room and very quiet. Great location.
Feels like an old person hotel and smells like it in the communal areas. Very dated.
