Convenient large studio in an excellent location. The studio is over a pleasant coffee shop/bar in a quiet but buzzy residential area about 15 mins walk from very central city. Many restaurants and shops within 10 mins walk.
Studio is very clean and bright and fairly large with kitchenette, large table, desk, large comfortable bed.
Microwave is needed as most food likely to be eaten at home on a short stay requires one.
Shower is over the bath which is high to get into. Shower head needs attention.
Unexpectedly someone came in each day to empty the trash bin. We didn't like this and the owner has not replied to my comments and request to stop. It is very unusual in this type of short stay rental.

I’m a bit torn about this one. There are so many positives: the location, the super-generous size of the rooms, the big windows with clever black-out curtains, the balconies, the little bar downstairs that doubles up as a breakfast spot, the value for money in comparison to many other places in Berlin - It all feels safe and friendly and we would definitely book here again, and have recommended this to friends already...
… but Karlito just can't quite decide what it wants to offer. Hotel rooms? Self-catering apartments? Serviced apartments? For example, the rooms have a small kitchen but there aren't even the basics for making a tea or coffee covered (like let's say a tea bag as would be the case in any standard hotel room with a kettle in it). In theory, there is room service, so you've got all of the faff of getting out of the room before somebody shows up, but in reality the room service only extends to the emptying of the bins, not any form of cleaning or replenishing the small sachets of shampoo/shower gel, so by Day 2 the statement that toiletries are provided no longer applies. Maintenance in general could be improved. Everything was clean on arrival but three of the lamps didn't work (main ceiling, fridge, and a bedside table one), the mattresses could do with an upgrade as other reviewers have also alluded to, and there was, errm, a very old lump of parmesan still sitting in the fridge. … Still, overall, not enough to prevent us from coming back. But there is room for improvement.

We are a group of 4 18 yo girls interrailing and this has been the best place we have stayed in across Europe. My mum booked this for us after a recommendation from her friend in Berlin. The location, in fact the road is the best. The apartment is perfect. We were able to cook our own food after so long! V easy to get around. We did a bit of touristy stuff and went to some clubs close by.

The room is spacious, kitchen is convenient. With lift. Location is good, walking distance to some tourist attractions.
Basic airbnb. Beds are not comfortable, WiFi unable to connect tv and phone. No toiletries provided. Lighting very dim, environment not bright.
