The hotel had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was comfortable, had everything I needed, and was exceptionally clean. Lots of lovely hot water and good water pressure in the bathroom!
I didn't eat there, but the menu looked fabulous, and the dining room was always busy.
The decor was a little old-fashioned, but it was accompanied by great hospitality, so it really didn't matter.
A long walk from the centre of Aberdeen, and up a steep hill!

It was very close to the hospital which is why I chose it.
The staff were all very friendly and efficient.
The breakfast was very good.
The situation of my room was awkward for a 74 year old with a stick to get to. Although the lift went up to the first floor, I then had to go up and down some stairs in order to find my room. To be fair I didn't ask for an accessible room but perhaps my room could have been changed on seeing my obvious lack of mobility.
