Quiet location, although near to a main road, bus station very close to the hotel, if you want to enjoy the city and leave your car in the parking (although a guest, you pay the parking, £3/night), you can buy a day ticket (£5.8 for one bus company trips) for trips with one or both bus companies and explore, there are 2 main bus companies in the city (First Bus and Stagecoach), very good breakfast, room very big and beds comfortable. We didn't use the leisure centre so can't say anything about that.
Rooms are a bit outdated, they really need furniture changed.

Breakfast was adequate. Appreciated fresh fruit
Evening meal was terrible. Lasagne was totally nuked, burnt on the bottom. Katsu chicken had hardly any sauce. When we asked for more we were charged an additional £1 for a tiny jug!!
We complained but still had to pay nearly £50 for 2 disgusting meals
