Beautiful classy hotel on the beach. Lovely rooms, comfy beds, spotlessly clean. Peaceful but only short walk into the town. Lovely thick padded sunloungers on the beach and around the pool. Lots of lovely sandy beach. The staff were great. Food in the hotel restaurant was top notch. Also visited their 2 restaurants in town which were also good. And their cocktail bar Hive, 5 minute walk away on the edge of town, was our favourite place for a delicious cocktail and great music played by the DJ. Malia Old Town is pretty with lovely traditional restaurants.

Fantastic location on the beach, only 10/15mins walk tp the old town. We had a great suite on the 2nd floor overlooking the sea and the sunset was amazing every night. We also loved not having to reserve sunbeds, therre were lots available everyday by the pool or overlooking the sea. When we arrived, we had a Cretan night with delicious food and lovely traditional music. The staff was also very welcoming and friendly. Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The location is great, and having a large parking lot is a huge plus. The hotel also features a fantastic bar with a good selection of expensive/premium alcohol. The sunbeds themselves are comfortable.
The value for money is very poor (we paid €200+ per night with a discount in September). For this price, the hotel lacks basic necessities: there is no bottled water in the room, no coffee machine, no gym, and no phone to call reception. Breakfast is not a buffet, just 4 options for an extra charge.
The layout is very inconvenient—you have to exit the main building and walk around it to access the pool and sea. There is no private beach or direct sea access (it’s on a rocky cliff), so you have to walk through neighboring hotels' sunbeds to get to the water. The shade over the sunbeds is poorly organized, so you will likely be roasting in the sun unless you grab one of the few shaded spots.
The hotel is outdated and poorly maintained. The tiled pathways are overgrown with grass, and the metal bed frames are completely rusted. They display a 9.1 rating certificate, but it’s from 2016, which perfectly explains the current state of the property. It does not justify the high price tag.
