I would normally give this hotel 10 out of 10, but unfortunately I cannot.
The hotel has an excellent location, around 30 minutes by car from Heraklion Airport. The apartments are spacious, clean and well equipped. There are several swimming pools, including children's pools, water slides, a playground, an indoor playroom, an outdoor workout area, a restaurant serving excellent food, and a beautiful sandy beach about a 5-minute walk away (although it can be windy with bigger waves). Every member of the staff we met was friendly, helpful and professional.
Unfortunately, one issue significantly affected our stay.
Most family hotels have quiet hours so that guests can enjoy a good night's sleep. If uninterrupted sleep is important to you, I would recommend checking the hotel's policy carefully before booking.
Interestingly, the reception staff repeatedly told us that the hotel has quiet hours from 23:00 until 07:00 and assured us several times that any noise after 23:00 would be dealt with by security. However, when I finally spoke to the hotel manager, he explained that this was not the hotel's policy. According to him, 23:00 only marks the end of the all-inclusive service in the main bar, while the bar itself remains open for as long as guests wish to stay there. A member of staff also confirmed that if guests stayed until 5:00 a.m., the bar would remain open.
Our experience was as follows:
- Night 1: We arrived at 1:15 a.m. Everything was perfect.
- Night 2: Loud music continued until around 00:30, even though there was no football match. The next morning we reported it to reception and were assured that security would enforce the hotel's quiet hours after 23:00.
- Night 3: A football match was shown in the bar and cheering continued after midnight. Once again, reception apologised and assured us that the hotel had quiet hours from 23:00.
- Later that day, the hotel kindly offered us a room in a quieter part of the resort. We genuinely appreciated the effort, but changing rooms was not a practical solution because we were travelling as a family of eight, the rest of our family was staying next door, we would have had to spend hours packing and unpacking again, and our young children had already adapted to the room. We therefore politely declined and repeated that we were simply asking for the quiet hours we had been told about to be respected.
- Night 4: Another football match, more cheering until around 00:30.

Toilet is difficult to flush. Too little water. Outside tables in the canteen are just terrible. It would be also nice to have mosquito net in the bedroom. Also in the bathroom water was dripping from the ceilings

Food was really nice. Similar dishes daily, nonetheless, tasty.
It is disappointing to see so many plastic cups being used. Even when asked at the bar to have a drink in a glass , we were told it is only available at dinner! You could , of course, have a drink in a glass served anytime- with additional payment...If you fancied to pay for a drink outside of All Inclusive menu.
Taking about all inclusive- food was really nice , in our opinion. We even had a pleasure of enjoying lovely calamari at couple of occasions!
Drinks included in All Inclusive however, were a real disappointment... ouzo, raki and ?cogniac...beer and wine....no basic spirits like whisky, gin or even vodka. Available spirits were... just like a firewater:-( white wine was the only thing that was pleasant tasting.
Location is good, reception stuff very helpful. It would be really great for the hotel to improve their All inclusive drink package, which would make us consider another visit in future:-)
