Exceptional

Modern property with nice, large comfortable rooms. Large shower was wonderful! Very tastefully decorated with nice finishes. Great pool and grounds.

Not much activity at the on site restaurant so we walked to dinner.

Wonderful Hotel in a quiet place:)

The Hotel is in 10-15 minutes walking distance to the more crowded area of Malia. So anyone who likes to enjoy the silence you should definitely go here. The Rooms are very spacious and have a very modern style:) The staff is super helpful and no wish is an inconvenience. The Restaurant offers Food and Beverages to a fair prize and it tastes good:) We definitely enjoyed our stay:)

Great value for money, highly recommend

Great location, within walking distance to the town and restaurants, didn’t have one bad meal at the hotel, the chef was awesome!

Our particular room didn’t have a private shower so it was a little awkward since I was with a friend so maybe it’s something to highlight a little more on the booking page

Lovely location not to far from Malia centre but not close anuf to hear all the noise. We had a Jacuzzi room which was lovely And cleaners did a great job cleaning every day. The sunset from the property was amazing. Gutted I’m back!! Mamos and his wife and daughter was lovely. They run pyrgos blue at a high standard. Well defo Recommend and will defo go back.

Unfortunately disappointed. Pictures are deceiving.

Modern, comfortable bedroom, very nice shower and good sea view.

The experience does not match the price. When you’re paying a more premium rate for a room, you do expect a higher standard which unfortunately we did not get. We booked the high spend room with the jacuzzi, expecting this to be ready for our arrival at check in, however, we had to wait 7 hours for it to heat up to a nice temperature which was not cold. From experience, I know that jacuzzis can take 3-8 hours to heat up to the optimum temp, which is why I messaged the hotel in advance to ask if this could be done before we arrived - but they ignored the message and did not respond. When we got to the room, I asked the woman working on the reception how long it would take to get to the temp they had set it at and she said half an hour which wasn’t the case at all. This resulted in us paying a for something we could hardly use so it seemed like such a waste. The room also includes a coffee machine which is great, however they did not provide any pods for it so we couldn’t use this either which was a shame. If we were not paying so much for the room (£120 per night) we wouldn’t have minded as much but with premium prices you expect better quality and attentive staff. When I mentioned about the jacuzzi when checking out to the staff, she just replied saying “it was warm when I touched it” and “it just depends on the weather”. She didn’t apologise or take any responsibility for something which could have been sorted prior to us arriving…

We had the Suite with the private jacuzzi and the room was more than beautiful! Everything was excellent, the view, the food, the room and especially the Hotel Owner. He is very kind and the heart of the Hotel.

Perfect stay!

We had a lovely stay at Pyrgos Blue and enjoyed our holidays. really cool and modern renovated rooms, a bit of a pity with the construction site next door. but overall a lovely hotel and staff! thanks Tula for hosting us!

Amazing.

Best stay of my trip to Greece. Did 2 nights in a big room with 4 people and did 1 night in a double room. The view from both rooms were spectacular, facing the sunset. The balconies were large with lots of room for all 4 of us to hangout. The second room was very newly renovated with an amazing shower and a jacuzzi on the balcony. Family run with the staff exceeding expectations. They even gave my friends a ride to the airport on their last day and me a ride to the bus stop. Great bar with a nice resturant and good cocktails. Very reasonable prices. Amazing views and can walk to the beach in seconds.

Great value stay in Malia!

Snack bar was really reasonably priced and the food was SO GOOD - we particularly like the bacon and egg rolls and the pork gyros. Room was the Superior Suite, so gorgeous and clean, amazing balcony and bathtub. Pool was always really clean as well.

Highly reccomended for a peaceful and quiet stay in Malia

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pyros Blue and for the price we paid were pleasantly surprised with the high quality of the rooms. The deluxe rooms with pool view have been recently re-designed to a high spec. We loved both the room and veranda areas and also the quiet and peaceful vibe of the hotel. The sunsets were an added bonus. The food was to a high quality and very reasonably priced and nothing was too much trouble for Ellen who deserves a special mention. Nothing was too much trouble and always smiling; thank you :-)

Our stay at Pyrgos Blue was everything we could have hoped for! The location is perfect; literally on the beach and walking distance for everything important, but far enough from the loud clubs and bars to be relaxing. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The food and drinks were great and our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We loved watching the sunset from our balcony. Everything about this place was perfect and we did not want to leave!

The view is outstanding! The staff was super friendly and very kind! The property overall has good food and good drinks! It's about a 8-10 minute walk to the main party street from the property. The sunset view from the property is absolutely stunning!

Great spot, right on the beach

Loved that it was a little outside the centre so it was quiet. Less than 10 mins walk to centre and 15 mins to the old town so it’s still central. Tula was exceptional, she was very helpful and attentive. Great cocktails, property made espresso martinis and nice actual glasses to have a cocktail by the pool. Room had a sea view and we woke up to the sound of waves, couldn’t ask for more.
