Spacious room, comfortable bed and a good selection of food for breakfast.
Scaffolding right outside the hotel as they're currently doing maintenance.

Locatie, pal in het centrum.
Werken aan de gang. Sauna en pool gesloten.

Camera spaziosa e accogliente con un letto molto confortevole. Ottima colazione a buffet. Personale gentilissimo.
A causa dei lavori in corso la piscina/spa e la palestra non erano utilizzabili. Anche gli ascensori erano interessati ai lavori e per questo non efficienti.

Clean, contemporary and central location as well as size of bedroom
No dressing table with mirror to sit and do make up. Only option was to stand in bathroom or sit on floor next to big floor length mirror.
Breakfast experience was a bit all over the place. Ran out of lots of hot items and then a gap between them getting refilled. Waited a while for tea/toast to be delivered.
Couple of the staff members at breakfast weren’t the most pleasant and it felt like you were an inconvenience for asking something.

Loved this hotel, such a good central spot, rooms were amazing and staff fantastic.
It was a little noisy at night but to be expected for the central location.

We arrived rather late due to the storms causing delays and wreaking havoc with our travel plans. The staff accomodated us well with our changes in plans with no issues. They were also very helpful when the room we had a fault in the plumbing so they offered to change the room. The room size was great and the beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic being next to the Glasgow central station.
Nothing much

Work started at 7:30am right outside my window when the property specified that it wouldn’t start until 9am. Swimming pool was closed. Climate control in room locked and set too high.

Always feels nice walking into the foyer relaxed and clean. It was a nice surprise walking into our room which had recently been done up.
The last time we noted the decor was a bit tatty getting, so i was pleased to see their has been improvements.
The bar is always good to sit in for a few drinks the staff are always so helpful.
There was signs telling us about the lifts as they were making improvements in that area so we may experience issues. We found it very frustrating going up and down not reaching our floor. We ended up getting out on the fourth floor and taking the stairs to the 6th.
Also the pillows, one super soft and one super hard.
Think I might take my own pillow next time.

Really like our room and the bed was firm the way I like it, staff were really good and helpful
The only negative was the parking and I know it’s not the hotels fault, but if I was to have any negative that would be it

There are some elevator works underway but not a big problem

Property was fine and location was excellent
I booked through Booking.com. When I checked into the hotel I was told that they would give me an invoice(which I need to claim back expenses) when I left the following morning. When I checked out I was told that they couldn’t provide any sort of invoice at all and that I had to get one from Booking.com. The receptionist called over (I guess) a manager / supervisor and he said the same thing.
I’ve used Booking.com a lot and never experienced this before. My receipt from Booking.com says “A valid tax invoice for tax purposes can only be issued by the property”. So I have no invoice to use to claim business expenses.

Ease with which my request for additional sleeping space for my daughter was handled was highly impressive; this is a very welcoming hotel with friendly and helpful reception, concierge and housekeeping staff who make every stay a pleasure.
It's not uncommon for breakfast in any hotels to be a largely disappointing experience these days; if you want a freshly cooked breakfast served from the pan to your plate, you have to go to a bed and breakfast. That's universal and there's no difference between Holiday Inn and Gleneagles in that respect. Well, except range of options.
I sometimes wonder whether hotels would, given the choice, rather not serve breakfast at all and whether the c£17 (£14 ex VAT) which the breakfast costs doesn't achieve required margins or interferes unduly with mise en place for lunches, dinners and functions. I know that so tend to not use breakfast facilities in most hotels I stay in.
My daughter loves a hotel breakfast, though, so in we went. If my server had been as zealous about establishing what I wanted as she was to ensure that the £5 supplement for pancakes was going to be charged and paid, I might even have got toast when I finally managed to get her attention to ask for tea and my son, positively eager to taste a £1.70 pancake, may even have had his order placed (another £5, but it's not his money so he didn't care) but it wasn't to be and we never saw her again after my tea and pancakes arrived.
None of my business, but ever the businessman, I wonder what the thinking is behind applying a £5 supplement for items which clearly have no expensive ingredients attached. I can ask the chef to boil, poach or fry my egg and I dare say they'd give me three if I asked for them but if the whisk and bowl to make an omelette are involved then the supplement kicks in. Maybe it's a temerity tax - chefs are known to demonstrate impatience with customers who aren't like other customers. Whatever the reason, and it certainly isn't to improve customer experience, it's a parsimonious and vaguely hostile measure in both intention and execution and because I love the Radisson Blu, I'll avoid the breakfast in future.

Room was well decorated and clean.
Bed was comfortable.
Shower was great
Staff were helpful and friendly
I asked for a twin room both with Booking. Com and when I checked in online. When got to hotel had been allocated a king-size bed. I was with a friend but did not want to share a bed. Reception staff did manage to change us to a twin room but it was a worry to start us off.

Everything was PERFECT from the minute we walked in the door until we left the next day. The staff were brilliant and made us feel right at home! Immaculately clean, beautifully designed. The stay made my boyfriend’s birthday even better, thank you so much. We are already looking to book for next month :)

Breakfast was good and lots to choose from. Room very quiet which was good.
No drawers in room for underwear.

Easy access to the main shopping area. Relaxing rooms and the breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hotel as I’ve food intolerances. There is a wide arrange of fruit to choose from and gluten free cornflakes. Coffee is good which is a must. The receptionists were very friendly and booking a taxi for the concert we were going to and to get to the airport the following day was hassle free. Plus they accessed bus timetables to get to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
The dinner menu in the evening at the bar area wasn’t extensive and not really great if you are gluten free. Thankfully I’m not celiac and could order the fish and chips but had to take the batter off. The area in the bar area was cool for a dark November evening.

The hotel had a fantastic breakfast, great bar and reception staff were the best we've experienced.

Hotel was very near shops/restaurants in the city centre and right outside Central Station so very handy for us. Staff were all courteous and helpful. The room was an ideal size and facilities were adequate for our needs. We enjoyed our lunch in the hotel and made use of the bar during our stay which had a good variety of non alcoholic wine and mocktails which was ideal for me as I don't drink alcohol. The bar also had a large variety of beers and spirits which suited my fiancé.
We had breakfast in our room which arrived at our designated time which was a brilliant option for us as we wanted to relax and not have to rush and get ready early in the morning.
Shower was easy to use and temperature control worked perfectly to set to my preferred setting.
My fiancé found the mattress too firm so he didn't sleep well during our stay.
We did hear sirens and horns tooting in the early hours from traffic outside which also interrupted our sleep but I guess that's the down side of the city centre location and not the fault of the hotel.
Can't fault anything else.

We were at the Radission Blue for our 30th wedding anniversary. We we're given an upgraded room and a voucher for a free drink because of this. This isn't the first time we've stayed here and it wont be our last. We love the proximity to the centre of town and all attractions.

The bedroom was very comfortable and well-appointed The problem with a non-closing window was quickly
rectified.
A member of staff kindly helped me to locate a room in a different hotel for an additional night when my return travel plans were changed at short notice and Radisson Blu did not have a room available. Much appreciated.
The breakfast was good, except that the bacon. scrambled and sausages did not look very appetising. There were
plenty of other nice choices to have instead.
