The single bed appeared to be a bit narrow, however I am used to sleeping in a double bed which might be the explanation.
On arrival the kettle was half full of brown water of indeterminate origin. I did not complain to reception (probably a mistake) and boiled / discarded a couple of kettles of water before use. There were only 5 sachets of milk provided, not enough for a thirsty traveller!

Bog standard motorway services hotel. Just about all you need for a good night's sleep.
Better choice of food, but it's a motorway service area so one can't expect much.

Staff were the friendliest and took a genuine interest in the customer and helpful
We were in a disability room, which was no issue, but in order to get the shower to work I had to head to main reception this morning to seek advice on how to do this. There was nothing in the bathroom to explain you had to yank up a section of the shower hose in order to get it to work. Appropriate labelling needed please.
My son wanted his single bed closer to mine so we pushed the divan base over a little and the carpet beneath really needed to be hoovered

The Reception staff (Lynda and Charlie) were brilliant and made you feel very welcome
