The staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The service from all of them was excellent.
The decor is a little tired and could do with a spruce-up.

Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
Breakfast had cereals and pastries laid out and you then ordered your breakfast which was cooked for you. The breakfast was good.
Large car park with ample spaces. Very near centre of Shifnal.
Room was very tired and really needed renovated as did the whole of the hotel the window surrounds in our room were rotted and the Roman blind was held up by string on either side.
Breakfast room seemed to have been recently done up and was much more modern than the rest of the hotel.
Coffee was from a machine and like all these machines the coffee isn’t very warm and really tasteless. There were not enough clean cups and it was difficult to find a member of staff to get clean cups, as the waitress was very busy with taking orders.
Staff were friendly enough but there did not seem to be enough of them to the ratio of guests.
All in all a disappointing stay.
