We chose Fanhams Hall for our wedding night. We are really happy with our stay, the staff was lovely, they had the courtesy to gift us a chocolate brownie for being newly weds, the room was good, the views from the room were really nice too. We went for a walk in the gardens the next day and it was magical!
There was a bit of misscommunication when we first booked the hotel as I booked with my then fiancees card, but under my user in booking.com. This triggered the hotel for security reasons to ask me to provide more details regarding my bank account online which I was not comfortable with. After a couple of back and forwards they kindly agreed to review my details in person at the front desk when checking in and that was it. Well resolved.

Absolutely beautiful place. staff were lovely breakfast in the morning was very good. I would good go back.
Very minor. stayed in Courtyard room. Room felt quite small.

Good location, lovely building
Small room, difficulty getting into the bed only eight inches between the bed and a brick pillar both sides of the bed,only one chair in the room,the bathroom which was a wet room had a towel across the floor to stop the water running into the bedroom, there was sealant missing on the shelf and poor paintwork on the skirting board.
Very small and expensive menu however the food was good
