Great location and room in an old Chania house above the restaurant facing the sea. Obviously an old quirky building with things like steep stairs - which I really like - but could be an issue with some people.
Room was tiny and the bathroom was - lets say - eccentric - but that all adds character and was fine with me. Some people might find this difficult though - having a lot of luggage would be a problem - no taxi to the door and steep stairs.

The location is perfect. We have the beautiful view of the iconic Venetian light house and the Harbour. It offers the old time charm that is both romantic and fun. Downstairs restaurant offers discount for our dinning and the food and service are amazing. The owner is also very responsive. They also helped us arrange a wonderful trip to Balos. Absolutely a best value hotel overall.
Because the building is centuries old, it took us a bit to get used to the older bathroom set up. We quickly got used to it.

Well, it’s right on the waterfront, but I had no view except of an interesting alley. There are two entrances one through the restaurant and up a steep set upstairs and the other still steps but into the alley.
The bed was uncomfortable and so was the couch. The room is very basic about the price was right.

Location could not be better! The accommodation is ok for a couple of nights (but if you're looking for a beach-type of hotel, this is not it.) It was quite rustic and characteristic and we liked that aspect, but it still needed some TLC (tender loving care!)
We had a non-sea view and whilst that was fine with us, the problem was air circulation. It was very damp , even despite the summer's dry heat. We went to the beach one day and came back with towels and bathing suits to dry- there was no space to do that, or even to hang the shower towels. The hot water was very temperamental and more often than not, it did not work.
