The house is elegant, and the environment is serene. The staff are caring and ready to address even petty problems.

There was a large scout pilgrimage group on the first night and they were banging doors until very late. Otherwise the hotel was fine for what it is. The staff were quite friendly.
The reception desk staff were rude when they allocated us a room with single beds at the back although we had booked way back in May.

Location was great close to were we wanted to be. Breakfast was simple with not a great chose but adequate.
the staff were efficient and helpful but some seemed to have difficulty interacting with guests, I don't think this was the individuals fault however, perhaps some costumer training would benefit staff and guests.

Pretty simple hotel, old but with all the necessities.
Bed could have been better. I could hear all the sounds from the corridor.
