I loved the hosts - generous, hospitable, and kind people. I loved the history of the home and the breakfast - the homemade apple and but cake was to die for! I also loved its proximity to Blessed Lucia’s house and the well of the apparition of the Angel. I prayed the rosary there in the early morning and it was the most beautiful, peaceful experience. This is a thin place.

We had an amazing time here.
The house is located in a quiet street and has been completely renovated some years ago by the owners. You can see how much effort went into renovating this building . It now offers three rooms with en suite bathrooms and a communal kitchen..
The hosts welcomed us very warmly. They provided fruit and cold drinks (water and beer) as well as coffee during the day. We have never seen a room so clean linke this one.
In the morning our hosts provided an amazing breakfast. We had omelette with eggs from their own chicken and homemade jam to go with a wide selection of fresh pastries (croissants and bread) as well as coffee and fresh juice. In addition they offered a wide selection of yogurts and cheeses.
Throughout our stay our hosts welcomed us like family. You can feel that they love what they do and that they love having you visit them. They gave us good advice where to park best when you go to the evening service and what to see in the village.

We felt like we were visiting family! We had a delicious breakfast with many homemade goods prepared by the owners themselves. The location was perfect: not too far from the Fatima Marian shrine and right across the way, was Sr. Lucia's family house. The bedroom we had was very comfortable and clean.
There is nothing we found that was unpleasant or out of place with this property.

It was a wonderful experience! "Casa dos Tios", an enchanting, authentic house, is located in a very nice and welcoming place with its own historical dignity — the old village where the three pastorinhos were born. Nowadays, it is a super comfortable, quiet district where you can not only rest but also enjoy nature and the friendliness of the local people. The place is so safe and quiet that we walked from the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima a couple of times at night without any anxiety. (Sure, there is an option to take the tourist train during the day or a taxi anytime (they are very affordable there), but we enjoyed the atmosphere). It's impossible not to mention the hospitality of our hosts. It didn't feel like staying in a rented apartment, but rather like meeting family. They are wonderful people, so warm-hearted and sincere; they met us as if we were part of their family. The breakfasts were legendary, our hosts helped us get to the bus station, and every moment spent there was an additional, special pleasure. I can't say a single negative thing about our room — it was perfectly clean (like everything in the house), cozy, and spacious. I'd definitely like to come back to Fátima and to "Casa dos Tios".
