I was very impressed that even though Fernhill Motor Lodge was not accepting any clients, the owners honored the booking we had inplace. I would return to Fernhill at a later date but I would check ahead to see if they were open to the public yet.

We booked a week ago only to find that it was not even a motel now. They have a temporary closure. The man looking after the motel was awesome, he gave us a unit for the night because we had a dog with us and he has said that we can stay again in 10 days time as we have booked and paid for the unit. I was very impressed with the gentleman and the help he gave us.
That Booking.com let our reservations go through even though they knew it was temporarily closed.
