We were met by the lovely, helpful, bubbly Michelle. The room was clean, and the bed comfortable. We felt safe leaving our car in the motel car park. Easy run into the ferry terminal or town from this motel, and lovely views back towards the city. Plenty of places to choose from for eating, within an easy car ride or walk should you wish.

Unfortunately the property did have a lot of road noise (we thought it would drop off late evening, but it continued all night). Weirdly, the body wash bottle had been used but not replaced, I say weird because the other bathroom accessories all were fine, but that I’ve was partly used. Also when we arrived in the evening, it was wet and a southerly was blowing, but the room had the windows open. So nicely aired, but freezing cold, probably hard to get a balance right with this, if not the staff available to whip round and shut them.

Lovely and clean. Bed sheets crisp and ironed! Luxury! Two lounging chairs for a two person room.

High standards of cleanliness, comfy beds and a great spa bath in the room. Great location across the road from the beach and only a 15-minute drive from Wellington CBD

Stay on the whole was ok but noise disturbence was a problem

No breakfast ordered

Location opposite harbour was nice but traffic was all night and certainly disturbed our evening/sleep. If we stay again, we will need to choose suite on the rear side of complex to reduce the noise situation.

Location was good. View gorgeous. Little area outside ranchslider nice. Owners/managers very nice and helpful.

I don't think anything can be done about the layout of the rooms but it seemed a little odd to have 2 chairs at the end of the bed. And the stairs were a bit of a problem for us who are older. A lift would be great. Funnily enough the colour scheme of blue cover and red curtains was almost enough to put me off booking. Decor could be more tasteful maybe.

Excellent location! Clean and tidy rooms of a good size.

The location is great and the room was a good size and very clean. We checked in after hours and the process was very easy. Would stay again.
